Cost: FREE - This event is open to all supporters, friends, and community members
Attire: Snappy Casual to Cocktail attire, all are welcome (detective hat optional but encouraged!)

About Bob Haas

Bob Haas was a gentle giant in Upham's Corner who believed in building community through:

• BBQ gatherings that brought neighbors together around the table

• Concert piano that filled the house with music and joy

• Loyal St. Bernards who taught us about protection and care

• Development without displacement - his vision for a Dorchester where everyone belongs

The Bob Haas Community Trust continues his legacy by providing affordable housing for nonprofit professionals and interns at 29 Monadnock Street, proving that intentional community and inclusive development are possible.

Event FAQ

Do I need to pay to attend?
No! This event is free and open to everyone. We welcome donations to support our mission, but attendance is not contingent on giving.

Should I RSVP if I'm definitely coming?
Yes, please! We need an accurate headcount for food and to prepare your mystery case file materials.

Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely! Just include them when you RSVP.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
We'll make sure you're taken care of- if you are extra concerned feel free to send us an email.

Is this event family-friendly?
The event is designed for adults, but tweens and teens are welcome with a guardian.

I'm new to BHCT—will I feel welcome?
Absolutely! This event is designed to bring together the whole community—longtime supporters, curious neighbors, alumni, donors, and friends. Mystery games are built for mingling and making connections.
